The V920D high-performance cameras transmit H.264 high-profile, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG compressed video with dual or triple streaming
Vicon’s V920D cameras feature motion detection, privacy masking, 2-way audio and an SD card slot for on-camera storage

Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of network video management systems, has introduced the V920D Series of rugged indoor and outdoor network domes, with a choice of standard definition, 720p and 1080p resolutions. These open-platform cameras represent a new generation of Roughneck domes, offering ONVIF compatibility, higher resolutions and a lower price than previously available models. Like all Roughnecks, they are designed for harsh environments; these domes are IP 66 rated and have an IK 10 impact protection rating.

The V920D high-performance cameras transmit H.264 high-profile, MPEG-4 and M-JPEG compressed video with dual or triple streaming. Features include motion detection, privacy masking, 2-way audio and an SD card slot for on-camera storage. IR illuminators and motorised zoom and focus are optional. A wide selection of mounting options is available. The cameras are powered by PoE, 24 VAC or 12 VDC.

Roughneck domes have been a favourite of Vicon customers for many years, and with the introduction of these new, open-platform models, we expect their popularity to grow among a broader base of users, including those who use third-party VMS software,” said Margie Gurwin, Vicon’s Director of Marketing.

The new V920D Series will be on display at ISC West, Vicon booth #18075.
