Specialist in security solutions TAC is now Schneider Electric
Security solutions specialist TAC has completed transformation and brand migration to Schneider Electric

Schneider Electric, a global specialist in energy management and security solutions, recently announced it has completed the strategic transformation and brand migration of TAC to Schneider Electric.

Schneider Electric is now uniquely poised to directly offer customers a full range of solutions across its core competencies of power, data centres, industrial automation, building management and security. This convergence enables customers worldwide to realise optimal energy and security efficiencies, and the associated savings in capital and operating expenses.

"This brand migration is more than just a name change; this is a new way of approaching our energy management business and customers' needs," said Dave Beradi, UK Managing Director of Schneider Electric's Buildings Business, formerly TAC UK. "Establishing the Buildings Business as the centre for one of Schneider Electric's core competencies is a major companywide initiative. We can now take multiple solutions from our comprehensive portfolio through one seamless customer interface to become a single-source energy management provider."

While customers can expect a variety of new opportunities, certain things will not change. "The trusted relationships customers have come to expect from our employees will remain the same, and we will continue to deliver the highest level of expertise, products and services our customers have come to rely on," added Beradi.
