Aventura Technologies, Inc., the industry leader in advanced security and safety management technology has announced Vantage™ C2, a Command and Control platform that takes 3rd party integration much farther than most traditional Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) systems.

The new platform delivers seamless interoperability between otherwise divergent technologies stretching the boundaries to include security, safety and facilities management with all its subsystems. The solution currently supports more than 300 third-party sub-systems. Vantage™ C2 also includes a Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) feature set, Mass Notification, and Custom Workflow with intuitive videowall control.

Frances Cabasso, President and Chief Executive Officer of Aventura Technologies said, "The idea is to give operators and management effortless access to every tool they have at their disposal. Instead of having multiple screens based around disparate products with different feature-sets, we provide one simple user interface with all of the buttons and functionality needed for the current task at hand."

Frances continued, "It's all about creating contexts. Whether a fire alarm goes off or someone buzzes in from the front gate, it's never just about video, intercom, or telephone systems. Instead, each context has a set of specific assets that it is fully connected to, and the operator can be walked through a customised checklist so no one is making decisions on the spur of the moment. Immediately we see an increase in the proper following of procedures and a drastic drop in the number of mistakes."

Frances concluded, “The future of technology through the end of the decade is about enhanced management of information and not just from security and safety. A common operating picture across a broad spectrum of technologies not only increases situational awareness but provides savings in the form of manpower, utilities and resources. At Aventura, we believe the future is about technologies simply being looked at generically. Main systems management will be parsed into sub-management system interfaces.”

In an industry where many of the new supposed game-changing innovations increasingly strain plausibility and with security teams around the world frustrated with the growing problem of system fragmentation, Aventura's focus on integration and ease-of-use puts them far ahead of the curve and cements their status as an industry leader.

At launch, Vantage™ C2 will have full support and interoperability with all prior 8.x versions of the Vantage™ software suite, as well as an enormous number of third party systems. Aventura has also announced that new deals on custom integration and development are forthcoming.
