 Avigilon’s HD surveillance solutions marketing taken up by Michael Hodor, the new Senior Sales Director
Michael Hodor plans to advance Avigilon's leadership position in the high-definition surveillance market
Avigilon has announced the appointment of Michael Hodor as the company's senior sales director for Western North America, Latin America, and Asia Pacific regions. A top performing sales executive and manager with sixteen years sales experience in the security industry, Hodor is responsible for driving sales and increasing awareness for Avigilon's award winning high definition (HD) surveillance solutions within these regions.

"With vast industry experience and an in-depth knowledge of the market, Michael has a track record for helping to grow start-up organisations into global surveillance leaders," said Dave Tynan, vice-president of global sales and marketing for Avigilon. "Michael's unique abilities for developing key business relationships and fostering top performing sales teams will surely be an asset to Avigilon."

Before joining Avigilon, Hodor was the vice president of sales for North America at Arecont Vision, where he managed the company's top growth region. Prior to Arecont Vision, Hodor also held senior positions with Sentex Systems, Controlled Products Systems Group, and The Kohler Company. Hodor is a graduate of Columbia College in Los Angeles, California, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and has also studied at Arizona State University.
