Aimetis Corp., a global leader in intelligent IP video management software, recently announced a unit sale increase of 38% in 2012 compared to 2011. Aimetis has also expanded the number of global reseller partners by 20% -- to more than 700 globally in more than 100 countries. Aimetis strong growth in 2012 was driven by increased penetration into enterprise segment of the network video management market, and the introduction of several new products and services.

Over 100% unit growth in enterprise projects

One of the main drivers behind the 2012 growth was the company’s success in the enterprise segment of the market, including Brasilia Airport in Brazil, a deployment of 1,000+ cameras deployment with growth potential to 5,000 cameras utilising Aimetis Symphony video management and analytics licenses. Aimetis also won the prestigious China Art Museum in Shanghai, supporting 1,200+ new and existing analogue and IP cameras with Aimetis Symphony in Phase-1 of the project. Expanded product and service offerings

2012 saw exciting new product introductions from Aimetis, including the 2nd Generation E3200 Physical Security Appliance,. The second generation E3200 Physical Security Appliance improves the user experience with a faster processor, 4G LTE option and Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) support.

Also introduced in 2012 was the E7000 network appliance. This appliance builds on the success of the E3200 series while combining video management and analytics into a compact fanless design. This introduces enhanced storage flexibility, mobility options and improved processing power for analytics on 16 channels.

Significant advancements were also made to Aimetis Symphony with the release of the latest version of Aimetis Symphony 6.10, which offers enhanced scalability, availability and updated video analytics. Some of the key new features include Symphony Mobile applications for Android and iOS tablets and smartphones, Enhanced camera views, new auto-PTZ tracking engine, LPR, and other exciting features.

In addition to the software and hardware offerings products, Aimetis also launched several new service offerings including Maintenance & Support, Learning Services, and Commissioning Services.

"Aimetis continues to execute on its long-term growth plans and 2012 performance was another successful step in that process" said Marc Holtenhoff, CEO, Aimetis Corp. "With our global distribution channel, the continuous advancement of our product and service offering and strong management team we are well positioned to continue to execute on our plans and have a strong 2013."
