 Aimetis has released the latest version of Aimetis Symphony 6.5 which has enhanced its sales and performance

Aimetis Corp., a global leader in intelligent IP video management software, announced that it has increased unit sales by 40% in 2010 compared to 2009. It also reported that it expanded the number of global reseller partners by 67% to more than 400 globally, in more than 100 countries.

In addition, while its channel initiatives remained strong, Aimetis also participated in many enterprise projects, including the City of Novi Sad in Serbia, with a deployment of over 1,000 Aimetis Symphony video management and analytics licenses, and the expansion of Munich Airport to Terminal 2, bringing the total cameras under Aimetis management there to 1,900.

Product line


Aimetis also made significant advancements to its' product line, including the release of the latest version of Aimetis Symphony 6.5, which offers enhanced scalability, availability and updated video analytics. Aimetis Symphony combines robust video management and video analytics in one unified software platform. By analysing video in real-time, organisations can achieve the desired business impact through timely and actionable information. Aimetis Symphony's simple and straightforward licensing options offer maximum flexibility, ease of use, and a cost-effective entry point for the seamless migration to IP-Surveillance. Aimetis expanded the number of global reseller partners to more than 400 globally in over 100 countries

Additionally, it launched Aimetis People Counter, an embedded video analytics software application for Axis Communications network cameras that tracks the bi-directional flow of objects as they pass a user defined boundary. This new application is ideal for retail environments, schools, banks, recreation facilities, prisons, airports and other environments that require intelligent customer and operational insight.

Achievements


Aimetis' recent business and product success has also been recognised in the security industry. In an Intelligent Video Vendor Shootout, Aimetis' video analytics outperformed several industry offerings in an independent product review conducted by system integrator VideoControlRoom along with A&S magazine. Last year also saw Aimetis achieve Axis Gold Application Development Partner (ADP), the highest partner membership echelon offered by Axis Communications, as well as Axis ADP Partner of the Year for North Asia, reflecting Aimetis' position of market leader for intelligent IP video management software.
