Arecont Vision unveiled its new D4SO series outdoor all-in- one dome cameras here at ASIS. The new units combine the colour or day/night imaging of the company's MegaVideo®  H.264 compact 1.3 megapixel, 1080p, 3 megapixel or 5 megapixel cameras with a 3.3-12mm varifocal lens for superior image capture and efficiency. Additionally, the units' 4-inch surface-mount IP66 environmentally rated and vandal-resistant housings provide an easy-to-install, cost-efficient solution ideal for outdoor applications.

Arecont Vision D4SO-AV115-3312 provides 1,280 x 1,024-pixel (1.3 megapixel) images at 32 frames per second. Incorporating the 3.3-12mm varifocal lens enables horizontal fields of view (FOV) ranging from 61 degrees at 3.3mm to 21degrees at 12mm. Arecont Vision D4SO- AV115DN-3312 is the day/night version with a mechanical infrared (IR) cut filter for superior low light performance.        

Arecont Vision D4SO-AV2115-3312 provides 1,920 x 1,080-pixel (2.07 megapixel or 1080p HD) images at 24 frames per second with horizontal FOVs from 92 degrees at 3mm to 31 degrees at 12mm. Arecont Vision D4SO-AV2115DN-3312 is the day/night version.

New higher-resolution Arecont Vision D4SO-AV3115-3312 camera provides the 2,048 x 1,536- pixel (3 megapixel) images while Arecont Vision D4SO-AV5115-3312 camera provides 2,592 x 1,944-pixel (5 megapixel) images of. Horizontal FOVs range from 75 degrees (3.3mm) to 25 degrees (12mm) for the 3 megapixel camera and from 95 degrees (3.3mm) to 12 degrees (12mm) for the 5 megapixel camera. Arecont Vision D4SO-AV3115DN-3112 and D4SO- AV5115DN-3312 are the day/night versions.

Each new camera provides an easily adjustable 2-axis camera gimbal with 360-degree pan and 90-degree tilt and a die-cast aluminum chassis with a 4 inch polycarbonate dome bubble. Available accessories enable a variety of installation options: wall mount, pendant mount, corner mount or pole mount. Accessories also include a wall mount cap, junction box adapter, electrical box adapter and an optional 10w heater kit.
