Arecont Vision best practices training videos cover installation, firmware, focussing, troubleshooting and more

Arecont Vision, the industry leader in IP-based megapixel camera technology, announces that a new series of Best Practices Training Videos are now available on YouTube. The new videos have been produced to help integrators and users get the most out of their Arecont Vision megapixel cameras.

The videos are presented by Arecont Vision Director of Field Applications, Ted Brahms, and cover basic issues such as focussing Arecont Vision megapixel cameras; updating firmware; setup and installation of MegaDome® all-in-one integrated megapixel cameras, lens and IP66 environmental dome housing; and troubleshooting 101; setup and installation of Arecont Vision MegaVideo® cameras; MegaVideo® product tour; setup and installation of SurroundVideo® cameras; SurroundVideo® product tour; setup and installation of MegaView™ cameras; MegaView™ product tour.

"Our new Best Practices Training Videos demonstrate the simplicity of installing and operating Arecont Vision megapixel cameras in a show-and-tell format that is easily understood," said Scott Schafer, Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Arecont Vision. "This new video series further exemplifies Arecont Vision's focus on providing our channel partners with the resources they need to be more successful."

The first videos in the new series include: "Focusing Your Cameras" video which runs for less than four minutes in length and covers seven simple focus steps. The "Troubleshooting 101" video which runs approximately five minutes, covers basic procedures such as ensuring the camera is receiving the correct voltage and power, that the data cables are working, and that the cameras' network LEDs are illuminated.

The "Updating Firmware" video, at a little over 5 minutes in length, shows customers how to verify that an Arecont Vision camera has the latest firmware installed. At approximately 11 minutes in length each, two "Setup and Installation" videos emphasise the ease of installation of Arecont Vision's MegaDome® and SurroundVideo® lines. "Web Interface for Arecont Vision Cameras," six minutes, explains how to use the web interface to adjust and control Arecont Vision megapixel IP cameras.
