Arecont is a Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner, which means that Milestone receives Arecont’s latest camera models
The award acknowledges the strong collaborative efforts of the two companies

Milestone Systems, the globally leading open platform company in IP video management software, has received an award from Arecont Vision, manufacturer of megapixel network cameras: 2010 Technology Partner of the Year - Joint Marketing. This award acknowledges the strong collaborative efforts of the two companies to expand and support the market for megapixel IP network surveillance systems.

"Arecont Vision and Milestone Systems share a common business strategy, that is, to educate systems integrators and end users regarding the many advantages of IP megapixel video surveillance over traditional analog systems," stated Jason Schimpf, Director of Partner Relations, Arecont Vision. "Milestone Systems software eases the integration of Arecont Vision technology into an IP network. Milestone is an effective partner both in terms of technology and marketing our message."

Arecont Vision is a Milestone Manufacturer Alliance Partner (MAP), which means that Milestone Systems receives Arecont Vision's latest camera models.  Dedicated driver support is developed and tested by the Milestone R&D department and released regularly in Device Packs for XProtect® IP video management software customers.

"Megapixel technology is one of the main drivers in the market's uptake of IP technology for video surveillance," says Martin Friis-Mikkelsen, Head of Strategic Alliances. "And in 2010 we achieved an increase in big projects installing Arecont Vision hardware and Milestone IP video management software."

Also in 2010, a series of Technology Road Shows were held across the U.S. by Arecont Vision, Milestone Systems and Pivot3, a Milestone Solution Partner that provides powerful storage solutions for optimal video surveillance. These road shows helped ramp up knowledge sharing for ‘complete IP solutions'.
