According to Network Rail, last year there were more than 3400 incidents of misuse at level crossings, accumulating 55 days of delays to trains and costing Network Rail about £1.8million.
COE Ltd is proud to appoint Anixter as an Authorised Distributor for COE's video transmission products, which are approved by Network Rail for use in critical applications such as level crossing monitoring. Anixter is one of the leading distributors in the rail industry, supplying industry approved specialist cables, connectors and electronic systems to rail and transport related industries in over 49 countries worldwide.
Anixter and COE shall provide equipment to enable remote monitoring of level crossings. Obstructions and dangers will be observed through real-time video and may be acted upon immediately.
