The briefing will include presentations from Trevor Elliott, the BSIA’s Director of Manpower and Membership Services
The briefing will feature presentations and discussions hosted by key industry experts

With changes to industry regulation and licensing set to impact the UK’s private industry later this year, the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has organised an exclusive breakfast briefing to explore the impact of a changing regulatory regime.

Free to attend and open to both members and non-members of the Association, the breakfast briefing will feature presentations and discussions hosted by key industry experts and representatives of both the BSIA and the Security Regulation Alliance, who have been involved in the development of a new regulatory regime from the outset.

Taking place in Marble Arch, London, on Wednesday 27th February, the breakfast briefing starts at 8:30am and finishes at 10:00, meaning that attendees can catch up on the latest developments in the move towards a new regulatory regime without losing too much time out of the working day.

The briefing will include presentations from Trevor Elliott, the BSIA’s Director of Manpower and Membership Services, and Mike Bluestone, Director of Security Consulting at Corps Security, both of whom have been actively involved in the consultation process on regulatory change from an early stage.

As the trade association representing the private security industry in the UK, the BSIA is ideally placed to provide an insight into:

  • The recent Home Office consultation
  • Summary of results from the BSIA's own research
  • Discussions with the Security Industry Authority
  • Next steps in the process and the impact on our industry

As well as a question and answer session, there will be an opportunity to network with industry peers and catch up with knowledgeable BSIA staff.
