BSIA’s awards will be presented at the Association’s prestigious Annual Lunch on the 27th June at the London Hilton, Park Lane
The latest addition in the BSIA's award portfolio is sponsored by Camberford Law PLC

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has launched a new Close Protection Special Award, to recognise and reward excellence in the field of Close Protection, and raise the profile of the many outstanding professionals operating in this dynamic sector.

The latest addition in the BSIA’s awards portfolio is sponsored by Camberford Law PLC and will be presented alongside the Security Personnel Awards, Cash and Valuables in Transit Special Awards, Apprentice Installer Awards and Chairman’s Awards at the Association’s prestigious Annual Lunch on the 27th June at the London Hilton, Park Lane.

Mike O’Neill, Chairman of the Close Protection section of the BSIA, commented on the awards: “We are very excited about the opportunity given to us by the BSIA to showcase the great talent available within our industry.”

“Every day we see Close Protection operatives provide excellent service to their customer, deal with particularly challenging or dangerous situations or generally go above and beyond their call of duty, so nominating these outstanding individuals is a great way to say ‘thank you’ for their work and commitment.”

“Moreover, with the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games coming to the UK this summer, the UK's close protection industry has the perfect platform to demonstrate the high levels of professionalism that characterises it. These awards therefore serve as further evidence of the BSIA’s Close Protection members’ commitment towards promoting quality and excellence in our field.” concludes Mike.
