The royal guest is Patron of BSIA's export council
HRH Prince Michael of Kent at IFSEC

The British Security Industry Association (BSIA) welcomed HRH Prince Michael of Kent to its hugely successful Meet the Buyers event held at IFSEC.

The royal guest visited the event in his role as Patron of the BSIA's Export Council to gain an insight into the work of the Export Council and meet with some of the BSIA members and overseas buyers.

Chris Pinder, BSIA Export Manager, comments: "We were delighted to welcome HRH Prince Michael of Kent to IFSEC this year. His presence and his role as our patron demonstrates the important contribution that UK security companies make to the British economy and ensured a unique and memorable experience for the overseas buyers that attended."

The BSIA Meet the Buyers event was held for the third consecutive year at IFSEC and provides overseas visitors with the chance to meet with potential suppliers through a series of face-to-face private sales meetings, providing an excellent opportunity for UK security providers to market themselves.

This year's Meet the Buyers saw 120 buyers and commercial officers attending from countries around the world.
