Event to take place at Bridgewater Hall on 26th March, & is themed on Protecting the Vulnerable

Exhibition space is now available to book for Manchester’s leading security exhibition and conference, as event organisers announce an impressive line-up of speakers for this year’s event.

Set to take place at the city’s Bridgewater Hall on Thursday 26th March, the event’s theme for 2015 focuses on Protecting the Vulnerable, and confirmed speakers have been selected to deliver presentations on a wide range of issues from child protection to counter-terrorism, all with a particular focus on the North West region. Speakers confirmed for the event include:

  • Detective Inspector Debbie Oakes from Greater Manchester Police’s Project Phoenix, a multi-agency team focused on child protection
  • Jayne Horan, Service Manager for Protect and the Integrated Gang Management Unit at Manchester City Council
  • Detective Superintendent Tony Mole from the North West Counter Terror Unit

Organised by the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) in partnership with the Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel, Manchester City Council and Greater Manchester Police, the event has become a must-attend for the North West’s wider business community, with attendees previously including major retailers, local authorities and entertainment venues.

Last year’s event attracted a record number of over 250 delegates, with attendees including representatives of well-known city-centre businesses such as Selfridges, Thistle Hotels and the Post Office, as well as other organisations including insurers, healthcare practitioners and local authorities.

For security companies wishing to showcase their products and services to a range of North-West based businesses, as well as representatives from local Police forces, stand space is available from £795 + VAT. This includes a 3m x 2m stand space including a table and electrical socket, breakfast roll and buffet lunch for two. All exhibitors will receive a copy of the delegate / visitor list following the event, and will be featured in the programme on the day.
