The BSIA event is supported by Greater Manchester Police and the Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel
The event will facilitate discussion of security challenges faced by the region

A popular exhibition and conference is set to return to Manchester next year, as the British Security Industry Association (BSIA) has announced that its free-to-attend Manchester Security event will return to the city’s Bridgewater Hall on Thursday 26th March 2015.

A favourite among local businesses, the event aims to educate and inform local businesses in the North West, bringing them together with local Police forces to facilitate discussion of the security challenges faced by the region, and the solutions on hand to combat such issues as crime and anti-social behaviour. The event is supported by Greater Manchester Police and the Manchester City Centre Crime Prevention Panel.

In 2014, the event celebrated its 20th year and attracted over 200 delegates from a wide range of organisations including well-known city-centre retailers, banks and local public sector organisations. A comprehensive seminar programme featured a panel of expert speakers including Manchester’s Police and Crime Commissioner, Tony Lloyd, among other retail and security experts. 2015’s line-up is set to be announced in the new year.

In addition to the informative conference programme, the event includes a comprehensive exhibition, enabling security companies to showcase their products and services to delegates from a range of end-user businesses. Last year, delegates attended from both private and public sector organisations, including Morrisons, Selfridges and Manchester City Council.

Exhibition space for 2015’s event is now available to book at a cost of £795 + VAT, which includes full access to the delegate list along with a 3m x 2m exhibition space and pre-event promotion to potential delegates. Sponsorship opportunities will also be available.
