SimonsVoss engineers have managed to make the digital locking cylinder 3061 directly network-capable. The function of the WaveNet node has been integrated into the cylinder’s electronic knob, making it possible to communicate wirelessly with a SimonsVoss locking cylinder anywhere in the world using the SimonsVoss software.

The functionality of the WaveNet node has been shrunk to the size of a 2 euro coin, making the new network-enabled electronic knob just 2 mm longer. The knob’s special design makes it possible to achieve radio ranges of up to 30 metres. As before the elegant locking cylinder is fully encapsulated in stainless steel.

It takes just 3 minutes to install network-capable access control. Just install the digital cylinder and the network is up and running! No need to fit built-in mounting boxes, lock nodes or cables. Even double-wing, glass and stainless steel doors can be reached over our radio network without any additional antenna equipment.

With modular programming of online periods from any time to once a day, the cylinder can be operated without impacting on battery lifetime.

Best of all, all digital locking cylinders supplied from the second quarter of 2008 can be upgraded with the new network-capable knob.
