BQT's Bio XK Series solution has been chosen by a major oil company in the United Arab EmiratesBQT Solutions Ltd (Europe) are pleased to announce that a major oil company in the UAE has chosen BQT's Bio-XK Series solution to meet their stringent biometric access control requirement.

The Bio-XK Series combines three technologies to ensure the very highest standards of security: triple (3) DES (Digital Encryption Standard), biometric fingerprint scanning and programmable key pad function.  This means triple protection.

The Bio-XK biometric unit incorporates DESFire fingerprint software offering Triple (3) DES (Digital Encryption Standard) encryption between a DESFire card and reader, delivering the most secure card transaction process available.  This proven encryption is used daily by the UK Banking fraternity.  By adding BQT's HSM unit (High Security Module) to the reader's wiegand line to the access panel, the customer in effect has a 128 bit encrypted data line from card through reader to the panel and then the server - a unique process in today's world of security.
