Bosch Security Systems, Inc. announced that its D7412GV3-USA and D9412GV3-USA Control Panels and the D1255-USA keypad now comply with the Buy America Act. This status provides Bosch dealers with more opportunities to use these products in applications that call for compliance.

With robust features that include NIST Certified Rijndael Encryption, GV3 is the product of choice for many commercial, military and government installations. It is the newest release in Bosch's popular G Series line and offers dealers greater flexibility in system design and faster programming and servicing capabilities.

A 32 bit 50MHz processor - the most powerful microprocessor within this segment - drives Bosch GV3 Control Panels. The processor provides fast keypad responses when operating the panel, and integrating to access control or building automation systems.

For easy upgrades, firmware updates are possible utilising a field flash update key. This capability eliminates the need for technicians to replace memory chips - helping them be more efficient at customer sites.

The panels also offer features to give integrators more options for system design. Up to 32 areas, programmable for interior and perimeter arming, provide enhanced flexibility to control access within a facility. Contact ID reporting enables monitoring by central stations that use receivers from other manufacturers, and support for wired IP and GSM/GPRS communications helps integrators meet a wide variety of customer installation requirements.
