Bosch’s IP cameras are the winner at PSI Premier Awards
The award builds on the company's reputation for the quality and reliability of its security products
Bosch Security Systems has won the PSI Premier Award for CCTV Product of the Year 2010 for its Dinion 2X range.

The Dinion 2X range enhances an already proven camera technology with improved processing and advanced level imaging. Its performance is designed for the most demanding surveillance applications, and its features have been tailored to make the installer's job easier.

Collecting the award at PSI Premier Awards ceremony in June, Paul Wong said that the achievement built on the company's reputation for the quality and reliability of its security products. "PSI's Premier awards are like no other," he says, "because they are voted for by the people that count, and the people that really understand our quality proposition."

The cameras within the Dinion 2X range combine a proprietary wide dynamic range CCD sensor (Charged Coupled Device) with a new Bosch designed 20-bit digital signal processor (DSP) with many times the computational power of conventional cameras. These innovative features deliver superior performance with improved detail reproduction and better image quality in low-light conditions.

With Bosch's new smart surveillance technology, the Dinion 2X cameras are well-suited for applications involving difficult lighting, day/night surveillance or where the most detailed images are required. Examples include outdoor perimeters, traffic monitoring, tunnels, car parks, and casinos and gaming centres.
