B9512G is approved for combination burglar and fire alarm applications and features integrated access control, direct IP camera control as well as integration with Z-Wave devices

B9512G awarded as Best in Intrusion Detection & Prevention Solutions in SIA 2015 New product Showcase

The new B9512G G Series Control Panel from Bosch Security Systems, Inc. has won the Best in Intrusion Detection and Prevention Solutions award in the Security Industry Association’s (SIA) 2015 New Product Showcase (NPS) program during the recent ISC West exposition in Las Vegas. This annual awards program recognises innovative products and solutions in electronic physical security.

The company’s most powerful control panel yet, the B9512G provides an integrated security solution for large commercial applications. It is approved for combination burglar and fire alarm applications and features integrated access control, direct IP camera control as well as integration with Z-Wave devices to enable automation capabilities. Users also benefit from integration with the Video Management System from Bosch and a free app that provides remote system control and video viewing. The B9512G offers complete security with a low total cost of ownership and easy operation.

“This award recognises the new G Series for its innovative capabilities that set it apart from other security control panel offerings available today,” said Falk Herrmann, Vice President – Intrusion Systems Business Unit, Bosch Security Systems. “These include comprehensive integration of security and automation functions. Features such as a free app and flexible programming help dealers create new recurring monthly revenue streams, while future-proof technologies like a dual plug-in communication interface or IPv6 support provide a strong competitive advantage.”

B9512G meets requirements of a wide range of applications

Featuring significantly greater capacity than existing G Series models, the B9512G meets the requirements of a wide range of applications including office buildings, retail stores, banks, schools, government facilities, and more. It supports up to 2,000 users, 599 points, 32 areas, 32 doors, and 16 IP cameras.

"This award recognises the new G Series for its innovative capabilities that set it apart from other security control panel offerings available today", says Falk Herrmann, Vice President – Intrusion Systems Business Unit, Bosch Security Systems

“Each year, the companies competing in SIA’s New Product Showcase at ISC West present the leading-edge security solutions that are shaping the industry,” said SIA CEO Don Erickson. “These new technologies and solutions are the drivers that are moving the security industry forward, and I congratulate Bosch Security Systems on their win at this year’s NPS.”

The NPS is held in conjunction with the ISC West International Security Conference & Exposition in Las Vegas—one of the largest gatherings of security industry professionals. NPS was established in 1979 to recognise innovative products, services and solutions in electronic physical security. Technologies showcased through this program are used in the protection of life and property in residential, commercial and institutional settings.
