JVC Professional Europe presented a "CCTV over IP" talk to over forty Irish-based installers at a seminar hosted by leading Irish CCTV product distributor, Borsatec.

The event was held on Tuesday, 18 September at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dublin, and provided the perfect platform for manufacturers and installers alike to share their expertise and experience of operating CCTV over an IP network infrastructure.

James Prendergast, Marketing Manager at Borsatec, takes up the story: "The IP security surveillance industry is beginning to take off in Ireland and this initiative provided our customers with up to the minute information on IP equipment and its current and potential usage."  For the JVC seminar, Yash Patel, Executive Director, CCTV Europe and Hanish Shah, Project Manager and Sales Support from JVC presented a basic overview of IP CCTV systems and outlined proven and potential benefits.

They also introduced the comprehensive JVC IP product line-up which includes IP network dome cameras, static cameras, monitors as well as the new VR-N1600E 16-channel and VR-N900U 9-channel network video recorders (NVRs).  Both NVRs operate as stand-alone systems or can be integrated as part of a larger system.  They come with embedded Milestone XProtect software that can be easily integrated with third-party equipment such as Paxton Net2 Access Control software.

"Our customers were extremely impressed by the product capabilities demonstrated and found the JVC presentation very up-beat, enlightening, information rich and enjoyable," ends Prendergast.
