Crimewatch Systems selected Bold's Gemini for their remote alarm and video receiving centre
Security monitoring company, Crimewatch Systems, have selected leading software supplier Bold Communications to provide their monitoring software at their BS: 5979, Cat II remote alarm and video receiving centre in the North East.

Crimewatch, delivering security services across the whole of the UK, needed a system that supports conventional digital communicator alarms, BT Redcare, DualCom and provides a platform for CCTV and Access Control management. With extensive experience of the video monitoring industry, Crimewatch already had a clear idea of what they needed and what was available in this market.

Shortlisted for the IFSEC Integrated Product of the Year Award, Bold's Gemini software was chosen for its multi-platform, multi-protocol capability, ease of use and wide ranging functionality. Crimewatch's managing director, Jeremy Norminton, commented: "We have very specific requirements in order to be able to deliver the high level of service demanded by our customers. Gemini fits these requirements off the shelf and is clearly a very well thought out product. Together with the back up of a company like Bold, who have been successful for a long time in this market, we had no hesitation when it came to committing to the Gemini software. Bold's partnership approach is the best option for Crimewatch as our services and the numbers of our monitored clients continue to grow."
