“U.S. Government agencies rely on the GSA Approved Product List to identify solutions that meet the stringent requirements of the federal government, and we are proud that System Galaxy met the rigorous testing requirements to earn a place on that list,” said Robert Laughlin, President, Galaxy Control Systems. “Galaxy Control Systems is dedicated to providing government customers with an innovative access control software platform that will meet their needs today and well into the future.”

FIPS 201

FIPS 201 is a U.S. government standard that specifies Personal Identity Verification (PIV) requirements for federal employees and contractors. Federal Agencies may procure only qualified products and services listed in the APL to facilitate the federal government’s objective of a fully interoperable Federal Identity Credential and Access Management (FICAM) architecture, ensuring compliance, consistency and alignment of commercially available products and services with requirements and functional needs of government FICAM implementers.
