FLIR Systems announces the release of its new line of “Super-R” 960H (960x480) resolution digital video recorders (DVR).

The FLIR D3000 Series 960H DVR line bridges the gap between standard resolution D1 CCTV recorders and more expensive high-definition surveillance solutions, supporting 960H Super-R with real-time recording at an affordable price.

The 960H platform records with 34% more resolution than standard D1, offering a true-to life aspect ratio designed for 16:9 wide screen viewing so viewers can take full advantage of the sharper, more detailed images generated by their 700+ TVL 960H cameras. FLIR offers a full line-up of complimentary 960H cameras in Dome and Bullet configurations to accompany its 960H Super-R DVR line.

Available in 4/8/16 channel configurations, D3000 systems include such advanced functions as Looping Outputs, HDMI, eSata support, CMS software, DDNS service, 2x HDD bays, full PC/Mac compatibility, and Mobile apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
