ISD, the edge - based computing platform company announced recently that its award - winning Jaguar IP camera suite is now integrated with exacqVision Edge video management software for distributed or enterprise - class surveillance configurations.

The integration demonstrates both companies’ commitment to open systems and edge-based video functionality. The exacqVision Edge server software runs directly on ISD cameras, eliminating the need for a separate VMS server. This unique approach is compatible with the complete line of exacqVision systems, allowing it to function as a separate server or as part of an enterprise deployment consisting of any combination of exacqVision VMS servers. The edge-based solution is ideal in a variety of environments, and can be used either as a standalone system or an enterprise-wide deployment.

As well, the award-winning Jaguar camera series reflects ISD’s vision to offer the robust capabilities of IP video with the ease of installation and operation typically associated with analog systems. The Jaguar and Jaguar Mini camera features dual 256 GB SD slots for more robust and flexible storage options. Users can leverage 512 GB of total edge-based storage or enhance reliability by using the SD cards as a mirrored pair. The Jaguar camera feature Wide Dynamic Range and outputs for analog devices to help users transition from analog to IP systems.

“We have full integrated edge process into our cameras to deliver intelligent edge –based features and functions,” said Ian Johnston, CEO, Innovative Security Designs. “Our integration with exacqVision Edge is an important step toward delivering customers with more flexible and scalable recording and processing options.”
