3VR’s theme at NRF 2014 was In-Store Video Is Your Secret Weapon to Success
3VR VisionPoint Retail Analytics transforms raw data from surveillance video into real-time, actionable insights

3VR, the video intelligence company, recently announced the launch of a line of in-store video analytics at the National Retail Federation 103rd Annual Convention & Expo. 3VR VisionPoint Retail Analytics generate incredible value for brick-and-mortar merchants by transforming raw data from surveillance video into real-time, actionable insights.

"3VR was our top choice for a comprehensive retail analytics solution for our stores nationwide," said Joseph Biffar, Corporate Loss Prevention & Security Manager of Chico’s FAS. "Already a customer of its loss prevention (LP) solution, Chico’s was able to leverage the same powerful video management system for business intelligence and store operations. We are excited for a growing partnership and look forward to customer success across all our departments."

A veteran in the LP space, 3VR has delivered proven ROI for hundreds of retailers worldwide. Combined with innovative customer analytics, 3VR’s award-winning video intelligence platform now offer merchants real-time visibility into all stores and locations worldwide.

"We empower brick-and-mortar stores with useful customer intelligence to combat showrooming," said Al Shipp, CEO of 3VR. "With 3VR’s retail analytics, retailers can harness Big Data from in-store cameras to create a personalised, omni-channel experience, increasing conversions and spend rate."

3VR VisionPoint retail analytics include:

Business intelligence dashboard:

An interactive dashboard that showcases meaningful overviews as well as specific analytic data of shoppers. Video data is enhanced by social and contextual information such as POS data. Easily track traffic, demographics, conversion rate, engagement and campaign effectiveness.

Queue management:

A web application that tracks customer lines and cashier availability for reduced wait times. It also provides comparative metrics into peak activity for optimal staffing.

Digital signage analytics:

The solution analyses in-store camera data in real time, determines viewers’ age and gender, and delivers targeted ads via in-store digital signage.

3VR’s theme at NRF 2014 was “In-Store Video Is Your Secret Weapon to Success,” emphasising the extraordinary, untapped insight into shopper behaviour and store operations that Big Data from in-store cameras offer. This message was displayed on a 22-foot banner at the Jacob K. Javitz Convention Center in New York City.

For the second consecutive year, 3VR sponsored the 8 a.m. coffee break at “Retail’s Biggest Show,” right before former U.S. President George W. Bush’s keynote on Jan. 13.

From Jan. 13-14, visitors to the 3VR booth (3745) at NRF were treated to cookies and giveaways when they received live demonstrations from 3VR staff.
