3VR VisionPoint Enterprise Server or Enterprise Appliance all 3VR NVRs and hybrid NVRs can interconnect to one another, even to VisionPoint VMS installed on third-party appliances
Each NVR and hybrid NVR is optimised for the bundled VisionPoint VMS delivering superior video management

3VR, the video intelligence company, recently announced the debut of five new high-performance hybrid and network video recorders (NVRs) at the ASIS International Seminar and Exhibits in Chicago. The 1000-5000-series recorders are scalable, enterprise-class solutions, offering unmatched forensic search and case management capabilities, and the ability to easily add integrated analytics.

Each NVR and hybrid NVR is optimised for the bundled VisionPoint™ VMS, delivering superior video management through an intuitive web-based interface. Designed to meet industry and IT standards, VisionPoint supports ONVIF-compliant (Open Network Video Interface Forum) video surveillance devices for seamless third-party integration. The powerful 3VR solution delivers flexibility and high performance in a single system, facilitating easier, out-of-the-box deployments and lower installation costs.

“We are excited to introduce our comprehensive new hardware line-up,” said Al Shipp, CEO of 3VR. “With the new high-quality, turnkey solutions optimised for the 3VR VisionPoint VMS, customers with a wide range of security needs will benefit from remarkable scalability, reliability and robustness crucial for today’s increasingly diverse requirements.”

From small convenience stores to large enterprise applications, the five new recorders offer performance and price points to suit every need. All models come with a 3-year software and hardware warranty.

  • 1000-series: Economical hybrid analogue and IP camera solution with support for up to 16 cameras.
  • 2000-series: Compact NVR designed for use in ATMs and other installations where space and heat is an issue.
  • 3000-series: Cost-effective desktop solution with support for up to 16 channels of analogue or 48 IP cameras with plenty of power to run 3VR’s award-winning analytics.
  • 4000-series: With support for RAID and JBOD configurations, and up to 32 analogue and 48 IP cameras, this rackmount workhorse is designed for medium-sized installations.
  • 5000-series: The 5000/5500-series supports up to 48 analogue and 128 IP cameras, RAID and JBOD configurations, in a highly reliable rackmount solution.

When used with the 3VR VisionPoint Enterprise Server or Enterprise Appliance, all 3VR NVRs and hybrid NVRs can interconnect to one another, even to VisionPoint VMS installed on third-party appliances. When VisionPoint Mobile is used, video can also be viewed and searched through a smartphone or tablet across the enterprise.

ASIS attendees can view the 1000-5000-series recorders at the 3VR booth (2107) at McCormick Place in Chicago from Sept. 24-26, 2013. Visit http://www.3vr.com/asis2013 for more information.
