3VR, the video intelligence company, announced recently the launch of the 5000-series of network and hybrid video recorders (NVRs/HVRs), the company’s most powerful and scalable recording solution to date. The new line of 3VR’s NVRs and HVRs easily scales from medium-sized installations with the 5000 model, to large-scale installs with 128 cameras using the horsepower of the 5500 model.

Optimised for the bundled 3VRVisionPoint™ VMS video management software, this turnkey solution is packed with unmatched forensic search and case management capabilities. It is also designed to be used with 3VR retail marketing analytics, making it a complete solution to provide marketing professionals with business intelligence and to make searching for suspects faster than ever.

“Customers today no longer want to settle for a limited black box solution for video security,” said Masayuki Karahashi, Senior Vice President of Engineering at 3VR. “With higher camera counts and demand for more sophisticated analytics and in higher quantity, 3VR is meeting this need with the 5000-series, offering the ability to scale from medium to large installations while still offering a competitively priced solution.”

The 5000-series is a feature-packed workhorse offering:

  • Scalable storage solutions in 1 to 8TB RAID or 16TB non-RAID internal storage with the ability to expand with external storage arrays.
  • Forensic Search capabilities using 3VR’s Facial Surveillance, Advanced Object Tracking and other premium analytics with the ability to expand to 20 or more on one system.
  • A fully hybrid solution with support for up to 48 analogue cameras and 128 IP cameras.
  • A reliable and versatile powerhouse with a 3-year warranty on hardware and software, enterprise-class drives and health monitoring.

The 5000-series provides customers with a variety of NVR and HVR solutions to fit every video security need. If integration to POS, access control, ATM, or other third-party data systems is needed, 3VR provides integration to a large number of solutions with custom integration also available. Most major camera manufactures connect to 3VR security systems.

3VR also supplies enterprise-wide solutions using 3VR’s enterprise appliance or with VisionPoint Enterprise software to connect 5000-series NVRs/HVRs over a small 4-appliance network or a broad enterprise environment with thousands of connections worldwide. Whether using as a standalone solution or with 3VR’s enterprise server, the 5000-series is versatile, reliable, and scalable to fit one’s security needs.
