Verint was selected as this year's winner based on the strength of its Nextiva Transit portfolio, its regional market success and its sharp focus on customer needs and requirements.

"Mass transit authorities need actionable intelligence that can be used to protect the transit systems and detect and respond to terrorist attacks, criminal activity and unforeseen emergency situations," said Friso Buker, principal analyst at Frost & Sullivan.  "Verint's sophisticated networked video solutions and deep understanding of the transit market position the company extremely well to capitalise on the growth of the European mass transit security market."

Robert Wint added, "We are delighted to have received external recognition for our achievements form an organisation as renowned as Frost & Sullivan.  It lends independent credibility to the work we are doing in making our European transports networks safer places on which to travel."
