The Anvil Group exhibits at BTA
Security specialist will be available on stand number 637 to advise corporations and TMCs on duty of care obligations

The Anvil Group, a specialist in crisis avoidance services, recently announced that it will be exhibiting at this year's Business Travel Show - 10th-12th of February at Earls Court in London. Located on stand 637, The Anvil Group will be demonstrating its Employee Travel Monitoring Solution (ETMS) and Travel Risk Intelligence System (TRIS) as part of the show's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) showcase.

The Business Travel Show is the leading event for corporate travel managers, travel management companies (TMCs) and travel bookers. It is dedicated to providing independent advice, practical tips, information and learning opportunities from the latest technologies and services available for business travel booking and management.

Visitors to the stand can expect to receive a comprehensive demonstration of The Anvil Group's TRIS and ETMS solutions. TRIS is an Internet based application that monitors international incidents and potential threats, such as terrorism, weather and political instability, designed to provide travel managers and security personnel with round the clock, accurate and up-to-date information across every country in the world.

ETMS empowers businesses and travel management companies with a risk management solution designed to provide alerts directly to travellers should an incident or threat occur. The system also enables businesses to fully comply with duty of care obligations, whilst adding to the overall value of the service that the travel management company provides.

The Anvil Group will take part within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Showcase, where it will be advising corporations and TMCs to demonstrate duty of care to all travelling employees

TRIS can be used together with the ETMS solution to conduct an automatic ‘threat vs. traveller' cross check, to provide a thorough risk assessment of any travel location.

The Anvil Group will take part within the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Showcase, where it will be advising corporations and TMCs to demonstrate duty of care to all travelling employees. The company will also demonstrate how the changes the Corporate Manslaughter Act have affected travel management, and how the increased duty of care requirements mean that all businesses need to make traveller safety of paramount importance.

"Recent world events such as the terrorist attacks in Mumbai, the disruptions at Bangkok airport and more recently, the conflict in Gaza means that corporations as well as corporate travel management companies need to ensure they have a thorough travel and crisis management plan in place," says The Anvil Group Director, Matthew Judge. "To aid corporations in setting their duty of care and travel policies, solutions such as our ETMS and TRIS provide a solid basis for any such policy as well as the means to respond to crisis in a proactive manner. It is in the best interest of the corporations as well as the TMCs to provide adequate duty of care to all travelling employees."
