Innovative Achievement Awards: NSR-1000 Series from Sony

Last week Sony exhibited at the SECTECH event in Copenhagen. The exhibition and associated seminars were focused entirely on security technologies, acting as a meeting point for suppliers, installers, consultants and end user purchasing managers within the field of security.

The number of visitors to the Sony stand was very good and there was particular interest in our Mega Pixel cameras (SNC-DM160, SNC-DM110 and SNC-CM120) and the new NSR-1000 Series Hybrid Recorder. In fact, we also received an Innovative Achievement Award for the NSR-1000. The judges were impressed;

"With the NSR-1000 Series, Sony has developed a plug and play system for video surveillance that supports both analogue and IP cameras. It is an achievement of exceptional value to end-users looking for a security package, avoiding the hassle and costs of complicated installation and configuration."

In addition, Sony ran its own prize draw for visitors to the stand and the winners of the Sony DSC-W170 digital camera are as follows:

  • Peter Goldschmidt, NetUPDATE
  • Mats Göransson, Niscayah AB

Winners will get the camera send by post.
