Genetec was selected as one of the Montreal's Top Employers of 2011

Genetec, a pioneer in the physical security industry and a provider of world-class IP security solutions, announced that it has been selected for the 6th time in a row as one of Montreal's Top Employers. This special designation pays tribute to select Montreal-area employers that lead their industries in offering exceptional places to work.

Organisations that enter this competition are evaluated by the editors of Canada's Top 100 Employers using the following eight criteria: 1) Physical Workplace; (2) Work Atmosphere and Social; (3) Health, Financial & Family Benefits; (4) Vacation & Time Off; (5) Employee Communications; (6) Performance Management; (7) Training & Skills Development; and (8) Community Involvement. Each employer is then compared to the other organisations in their category to determine which one offers the most progressive and forward-thinking programmes.

Genetec was selected again this year because of its innovative organisational culture, excelling in the vast majority of the different categories. Genetec offers its employees a very unique workplace that encourages independence, creativity, respect and balance. More importantly, Genetec strives to ensure its employees feel rewarded and recognised for their contributions with attractive incentives.

"Having received this award now for the 6th time in a row makes all of us here at Genetec feel extremely proud. We truly value our employees and do our very best to ensure that each employee feels that their contribution is making a difference towards the growth and continued success of this company," says Joëlle Couture, CRHA, Manager - Talent Management.
