Genetec's solutions are available in numerous languages including Spanish, thus offering a perfect fit for customers in the Spanish market
Genetec expects that its local presence in the market will help build solid partnerships
Genetec recently announced that the company has opened a sales office in Spain as part of its European growth strategy.  Due to increasing demand in the Iberian market, Genetec selected one of Madrid's most popular business centers as the hub for its new regional office.

With over 2000 installed cameras already being managed in Spain by Genetec's revolutionary IP video surveillance solution, Omnicast, Genetec felt there was significant opportunity to increase its presence as the convergence between IT and physical security continues to soar within this market.  Additionally, as more and more businesses are converting their legacy systems to networked security solutions, Genetec will not only provide a local sales contact, but customers in this region will also benefit from the same level of quality service as all other customers around the world with on-site and call center technical support.

The unmatched scalability of Genetec's solutions as well as its true open-architecture are key features which have already convinced international businesses from every industry to invest in Genetec's advanced security solutions.  Genetec expects that its local presence in the market will help build solid partnerships with local distributors and integrators as well as allow regional customers to get familiar with the Canadian-based company and the many benefits that its IP security solutions offer.  Currently, Genetec's solutions are available in numerous languages including Spanish, thus offering a perfect fit for customers in the Spanish market.

"The potential for IP security solutions in the Spanish and Portuguese markets today is tremendous," says Rafael Martin, Genetec's Regional Sales Manager - Spain and Portugal.  "The opportunity to seize is now since more and more companies in industries such as transportation, education, retail, gaming and more are looking at networked security.  By establishing a local office, Genetec will be able to fulfill the market demand and also offer local support for customers in need of additional services."
