Software House, part of Tyco Security Products, has integrated its C•CURE 9000 security and event management system with Deister Electronics’ key and asset management control system, proxSafe.
The interface with proxSafe helps take security beyond the door and into the arena of key cabinets, weapons lockers, radio lockers and other asset storage solutions, where misplaced keys and other assets can result in significant monetary and security costs to organisations. It enables users to manage door access and assets, including shared credentials and one-time enrolment through a single interface, while also providing an audit trail of physical key and asset acquisitions and returns.
“By integrating C•CURE 9000 with proxSafe, security administrators now have the ability to control and audit the issuance of keys and other critical assets without having to use multiple systems for key management and access control,” said Rafael Schrijvers, product marketing manager, EMEA. “The ability of C•CURE 9000 to extend the power of access control into physical key and asset management will continue to add efficiencies into a traditionally manual process.”
Using the power of the C•CURE 9000 system, proxSafe’s networkable system components can be assigned, controlled and audited through the C•CURE 9000 interface, including multiple sizes of configurable key/asset storage boxes, controlled lockers and RFID managed specialty lockers for radios and weapons.
The C•CURE 9000 integration with proxSafe is available through Software House’s worldwide distribution channels.
