Emizon undertook a massive programme to upgrade Sheffield University’s security communication
This programme updated all the University's electronic security from analogue to IP

Emizon has been instrumental in assisting a leading UK University to reduce security alarm costs whilst simultaneously upgrading the signalling and adding a remote online diagnostic service to its security and estates management.

Working with Mayson Security Systems, the in-house security team and ARC, Emizon undertook a massive programme to upgrade Sheffield University’s security communication infrastructure to IP across 350 sites. This programme created the ideal opportunity to update all the University’s electronic security from an analogue, single path to a dual monitored, IP service with the added benefit of remote panel maintenance and online diagnostics. By using Emizon not only were there substantial cost savings in both alarm monitoring and annual maintenance, but the University benefited from enhanced security, greater reliability of equipment and a more proactive service.

John May of Mayson Security Services said “Emizon’s signalling supplies a one-stop solution for all our customer’s monitoring requirements. Their on-line diagnostic system really helps us as installers. Mayson Security Services are very happy to have such strong partners as Emizon assisting our customers to reduce their costs”.
