Following its ‘live' launch at IFSEC 2007, Emizon 21 - the secure, managed messaging service for 21st century networks - has passed the latest in a series of major milestones proving that the technology of the future is very much the technology of the here and now.

Emizon 21 now has more than 2,000 units in distribution, making it already the largest IP security signalling service deploying in the UK as well as completing its first connections in the Republic of Ireland and the Channel Islands.  Over 50 installers are now active users of the Emizon 21 service.  They are taking advantage of its ease of installation and capitalising on the improved functionality, flexibility and cost effectiveness offered by Emizon's solution to secure IP monitoring, that still maintains, and often improves on, the security standards associated with ‘traditional' dual path signalling services.

A steadily increasing number of Alarm Receiving Centres (ARCs) have been similarly quick to realise the benefits that Emizon 21 can bring: three of the major ARCs are working specifically with Emizon 21 to promote the service in a series of ‘launch' events over the next eight weeks, including Securi-Guard, EMCS and Southern Monitoring.  Abel, Custodian Monitoring Services, National Monitoring, UK Monitoring have already gone ‘live', and three further ARCs are due to announce their support of Emizon 21 shortly.

"Emizon 21 has arrived, and is already becoming part of the fabric of the security industry," says Bob Tuck, Emizon's Managing Director.

"The principal reason for its rapid adoption is its focus on customers.  Emizon 21 is extremely easy to install, perhaps even easier than some had imagined, and in effect ‘future proof'.  Not only is it already proving its worth in broadband environments today, but also it is also ready for BT's 21CN national rollout in the future, whenever that might be."

"But that does not mean we are standing still or resting on our laurels," Bob continues.  "We are already spreading our message to a wider audience, including those in the insurance industry and receiving a positive response."

Emizon 21 is about the practical application of leading edge technology to every day business.  By working collaboratively across the industry with alarm panel manufacturers, ARCs and installers, the company is ensuring that the industry harnesses the potential of IP monitoring, whilst protecting the security needs of customers in the long term.

"Emizon 21 can rightfully claim to be the first choice for alarm signalling for 21st century networks," Bob concludes.
