Clarion Events are keen to re-enforce the fact 86% of BSIA members and 81% of UK installers are within 3 hour drive time of the NEC
Security Technology Live has seen an increase in the number of incoming enquiries from security companies

Security companies continue to sign up to participate at Security Technology Live 2014. As many security manufacturers and distributors continue to plan their marketing budgets for 2014, Clarion Events recently announced further support for the launch of Security Technology Live, the dedicated security channel event taking place at the NEC, Birmingham, 13 – 15 May 2014.

Following many successful meetings both during and after IFSEC, the Security Technology Live team has seen a real increase in the number of incoming enquiries as security manufacturers and distributors start to plan how they’ll reach the security channel in 2014.

Kay Ryan from Navtech Radar, who recently signed up to exhibit at Security Technology Live, commented: “We have chosen Security Technology Live 2014 as an important once a year opportunity to showcase our range of intelligent radar security solutions in a central UK location at the NEC, Birmingham.”

Meanwhile Ryan Bamford from Traders Warehouse was keen to point out their reasons for exhibiting at Security Technology Live: “We're exhibiting at Security Technology Live as we prefer the emphasis on getting security installers with genuine interest in purchasing to attend the show.”

Clarion Events are keen to re-enforce the fact 86% of BSIA members and 81% of UK installers are within a 3 hour drive time of the NEC, the centrally located venue where Security Technology Live will be held in May 2014. A new pricing model has also been introduced to reflect the commoditised security market with rates from £250 per sqm.

Ian Campbell, BC Technology was the first to seize the initiative when Security Technology Live was launched back in February, stating: “BC Technology is proud to be the first exhibitor to sign up for Security Technology Live 2014. We look forward to meeting existing and future customers at this installer focused show”

Tim Porter, Managing Director of Clarion Events, was keen to focus on how Clarion Events are engaging with the security industry during the summer months.

A new pricing model has also been introduced to reflect the commoditised security market with rates from £250 per sqm

“Whilst we appreciate there is a great deal of change with IFSEC moving to London in summer 2014, we’ve been very happy to informally discuss plans for both Security Technology Live and Counter Terror Expo so companies can make informed decisions on where to spend their marketing budgets in 2014.”

Porter added: “Any decision maker or influencer is welcome to give me or the team a call, or drop us an email, and we’ll be happy to answer all your questions to help you plan your marketing spend and drive new business in 2014”.

In other news, Clarion Events are delighted to announce Monika Luis has re-joined the team as Business Development Manager working alongside Rob Lozowski on Security Technology Live.

Companies interested in exhibiting, or finding out more information about Security Technology Live, should contact Monika on Tel: 020 7384 7875 or Email monika.luis@clarionevents.com
