GJD Manufacturing Limited, world leader in the design and UK manufacturing of professional external detector equipment and CCTV LED Illuminators, announced significant updates to its flagship courtesy/security light, the D-LITE® MKII. The second generation D-LITE® utilises the very latest LED control technology, providing detector activated illumination for the safety of people and properties.

Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director commented: “To make sure our customers receive only the highest quality security products, GJD continually look at how we can incorporate the latest technology in our detectors and security lighting products”.

Perfect for different detection requirements

In addition to the existing instant lighting feature, the D-LITE® MKII includes a soft start and fade away light option, perfect for different detection requirements. The upgrade also offers users significantly enhanced flexibility, as adjustable time on, sensitivity and lux level settings are available. Another new feature is the adjustable light on time, which is available for up to five minutes.

Adjustable detection range

Other major advantages include a smartly disguised PIR, making it impossible for an intruder to know the direction the sensor is pointing. The user also has the ability to easily change the positioning of the covert detector to ensure accurate detection. The new and innovative D-LITE® MKII is manufactured with an adjustable detection range available up to eight metres, paired with a detection angle of 110 degrees.

Easy installation

This aesthetically pleasing courtesy/security light is perfect to welcome guests to a property, as well as being a robust intruder deterrent. The D-LITE® MKII is quick and easy to install and is both energy and cost efficient.
