Quantum Secure unveils new highly intuitive SAFE App for Mobile Devices
The SAFE Mobile App provides reporting views of key facility for security and safety audits

Quantum Secure adds new portability and accessibility to its SAFE enterprise identity and physical access management software suite with a new highly intuitive SAFE App for Mobile Devices. The new app, available on any iPad, Android tablet, iPhone or other smart phone, enables users to review, approve and/or deny physical access requests from inside a facility or remotely. The SAFE App for Mobile Devices also speeds up the pre-registration process for visitors by providing an intuitive self-service interface to the hosts on their mobile devices, avoids unnecessary delays and allows visitors to check-in using an iPad or other tablet computer as a kiosk, making it fast and easy for visitors to register themselves upon arrival.

With Quantum Secure’s SAFE App for Mobile Devices, Visitor Management Officers can utilise their tablets or smartphones to look up visitors’ information to expedite check-in and check-out. For pre-registered visitors, the software enables scanning of a barcode or confirmation number, displaying the search result and helping speed the process. Personnel are able to be more responsive to changes in their operating environment with faster access to more critical information. The SAFE Mobile App also provides an option to check-in a group of visitors; provides reporting views of key facility for security and safety audits; integrates all necessary peripherals such as ID Scanner and badge printer; and provides badge printing. By increasing productivity and convenience in addition to enabling faster response and decision making, Quantum Secure’s SAFE Mobile App delivers a better, more efficient way to manage visitors. The mobile app also minimises installation and IT support costs, helping users to lower their TCO.

Introduced at ASIS 2012 Booth (#2551), the SAFE App for Mobile Devices operates seamlessly with the SAFE suite of enterprise software, which manages identities and physical access across multiple security systems enterprise-wide for greater compliance, lower operational costs, and to streamline and optimise business processes.

“Our new SAFE App for Mobile Devices answers the end-user's need to interface with SAFE software features from a mobile device to increase operational efficiency,” said Ajay Jain, President and CEO, Quantum Secure. “End-users increasingly use tablet computers and smartphones for a variety of business functions, and our new app enables access to SAFE software from any location.”

To celebrate the launch of the new SAFE App for Mobile Devices, Quantum Secure, the leading provider of enterprise software to manage and streamline security identities, compliance and events across disparate physical security systems, will give away a tablet or mobile device to a lucky attendee each day of the ASIS 2012 show. Winners will be chosen at random from among the business cards of visitors to the Quantum Secure booth who view a demonstration of the SAFE App for Mobile Devices and other new products at the show.
