The SAFE Analytics Suite enables end-users to prepare for risks before they occur |
At ISC West 2012, Quantum Secure is introducing SAFE Analytics Suite, a bundle of new software modules to enable end-users to prepare for risks or even prevent risk-based events before they occur. The new modules enhance Quantum Secure's SAFE enterprise software suite, which manages identities and physical access across enterprise-wide disparate physical security infrastructure to streamline processes such as on/off boarding of employees and contractors, policy based physical access rights assignment, issuing ID badges, managing audit and compliance processes across multiple geographies and locations.
The new SAFE Analytics Suite helps users comprehend data coming from physical security infrastructure and a multitude of systems in a meaningful way for better decision support. The suite incorporates analytics on Physical Identities, Access Management, Events and Alarms, along with a dedicated Risk Analytics module for assessing, measuring and remediating corporate risks related to physical security operations. Going beyond reporting, the SAFE Analytics Suite evaluates data to find new patterns and trends, root-cause analysis of specific events, new data associations, relationships and predictions.
Using Quantum Secure's SAFE Analytics suite, customers can minimise the time, cost and effort of managing physical security, automate key processes and simplify risk management of employees, contractors, vendors and third-party identities across a global organisation.
The early adopters of SAFE Analytics Suite include Global 1000 companies like BT (British Telecom), Symantec Corporation, Adobe Systems, etc.

“By connecting physical security operations to IT infrastructure and by uncovering hidden patterns, trends and relationships, SAFE Analytics Suite can help users quickly lower operational costs by automating and optimising business processes, improving compliance and lowering risk. SAFE integrates with multiple physical security and other business systems to a single web-based contextual data repository,” said Ajay Jain, President and CEO, Quantum Secure. “With the addition of SAFE Risk Analytics, users can easily define, assess and report risk, and also monetise risk by considering both the likelihood and impact of a risk event.”
In addition to managing physical identity, access and risk, other SAFE modules also address compliance with regulatory policies such as Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory bodies and provide a convenient metrics “dashboard” and Web-ready reports for easy analysis. Metrics include alarms by site, badge allocation by type, and sites and devices that generate the most alarms.
