SAFE Attestation & Audit includes built-in workflows for notifications, reminders and escalations
Quantum Secure’s SAFE Visitor Manager automates the entire visitor identity management lifecycle

Quantum Secure, the leading provider of enterprise software to streamline physical identity and access management across multiple sites and systems, continues to build on their SAFE software solution with new enhancements and upgrades featured at this year’s ISC West show.

“Our objective is to increase security while decreasing costs for customers of our SAFE software,” said Ajay Jain, President and CEO, Quantum Secure. “We will continue to enhance our offerings and expand opportunities to manage access for all the identities in an organisation.”

Among the new products and features being showcased in Quantum Secure’s booth are the following:

Quantum Secure’s SAFE Physical Identity and Access Manager (PIAM) centrally manages physical identities and access across diverse physical security systems while maintaining compliance. The new SAFE Version 4.8 increases functionality with email-based approval and denial of physical access requests, minimising delay for remote or traveling reviewers. Users can now build spatial hierarchy for accurate, nested access provisioning. Version 4.8 also provides support for location-based NDAs, escort sign-in/-out with visitor check-in/-out and multiple self-service improvements including user-reported card loss, picture upload and bulk submission request.

SAFE Attestation & Audit enables regulation-mandated compliance with periodic audit requirements relating to physical identities and access. Users can configure scheduled or on-demand reviews and audits of identities and their physical access through a self-service portal. Automated actions include audit triggering, task creation for confirmation or removal of access, task performance in real-time in the PACS (physical access control system) and audit report generation. SAFE Attestation & Audit includes built-in workflows for notifications, reminders and escalations.

Managing visitors, contractors and other temporary guests from check-in to the time they leave is critical to the security of an organisation – Quantum Secure’s SAFE Visitor Manager automates the entire visitor identity management lifecycle, mitigating high risk factors and extending ROI by utilising one solution to manage all physical identities. Its wide range of capabilities allows visitor pre-registration, re-issuing of temporary badges, on-site registration, security checks and access authorisation, check-in/check-out badge printing, and centralised reporting and audit functions.

Quantum Secure developed SAFE for Mobile Solutions with a unique approach to automating physical security operations that focuses on connecting security departments with their customers, improving productivity and increasing satisfaction for the end user. Customer-centric apps include new employee and contractor on-boarding, visitor registration, access changes and approvals or access audits, lost or stolen badge reporting, access requests and more. Apps specifically focused on the security department provide functionality benefiting visitor management, mobile badging, NDA signatures, alarm and identity metrics, search and verify personnel and more. All SAFE for Mobile apps leverage the reliable and secure SAFE policy engine to ensure continuous continual process management and compliance for security personnel, and are available on iOS, Android, and Windows platforms.
