Linear’s webinar is part of its ongoing educational series designed to help dealers grow their business through marketing and social media activities
The Case for Testimonials and Case Studies webinar will be held on 6 November

Linear LLC, a leader in residential and commercial access control, security, and health and wellness solutions, announces its sixth dealer-focused interactive webinar, The Case for Testimonials and Case Studies, on Wednesday, 6 November 2013 at 1:00 PM ET / 10:00 AM PST.

In the age of Google reviews, Angie's List and Yelp; positive testimonials are more important than ever. A one-star rating with negative comments can result in fewer inbound leads over the long-term because the damaging comments stay in search engine results and because many people assume the few comments reflect an entire body of work. Positive reviews and testimonials have the exact opposite effect, validating the quality of work and professionalism of employees. Case studies go even further by highlighting real-world expertise to customers and peers, contributing to greater trust in the brand.

Linear's webinar will explore best practices for identifying case study and testimonial opportunities, tips for attracting media coverage for case studies, how to integrate them into other marketing activities, and more. The session will run approximately 45 minutes with an additional 15 minutes for questions. The free webinar is part of Linear's ongoing educational series designed to help dealers grow their business through marketing and social media activities.

"Case studies and testimonials are the most credible way to showcase products, services and expertise because they are based on work done for existing customers," said Gary Baker, vice president of marketing at Linear, LLC. "There's real benefit in understanding how existing clients and installations can be used to maintain positive brand sentiment and start conversations with new customers."

Attendees will walk away with a clearer understanding of:

"Case studies and testimonials are the most credible way to showcase products, services and expertise because they are based on work done for existing customers "

  • How to generate testimonials and case studies
  • Most popular testimonial/review sites
  • Connection between online reviews and web search rankings
  • What makes a great case study
  • The benefits of case studies in the trade and local media
  • Case study submission guide
  • Best practices for pitching out your case study

The first live session of the "The Case for Testimonials and Case Studies" training webinar for Linear dealers will be held on November 6, 2013 at 1PM EST / 10AM PST. The session will also be recorded so dealers who are unable to attend can view at their convenience.

The free webinar series is part of a broader training and educational initiative Linear has instituted that includes training videos, CEU Accredited Linear University at the Carlsbad, CA headquarters, Instructor Lead On-site CEU Courses, and Self-Paced E-learning opportunities.
