Brivo demonstrated the integration of their Aparato system with Exacq Technologies' NVR video servers |
"We are very pleased to be working with Brivo Systems," noted Tom Buckley, Director of Sales & Marketing, Exacq Technologies. "Their open technology approach to access control is consistent with the way we provide video management systems solutions at Exacq. This powerful integration between our two product lines will be of great value to all of our customers."
The Aparato system and Exacq Technologies' NVRs are sold and installed separately and then connected via a network interface. Brivo's newest integration unites exacqVision video with events in the Aparato Activity Log. A camera icon is displayed next to any events that have related video, and clicking the camera icon launches the video clip so users can view the event. Live video can also be viewed using playback controls within the Aparato interface.
"This solution will be well received in all of our vertical markets," remarked John Szczygiel, Brivo Executive Vice President, "and we are particularly excited about the potential for our large education market where security managers are looking for simple and effective PACS and video integration with the lowest possible TCO."
Setting up exacqVision within the Brivo interface is easy, and ongoing operations and maintenance are user-friendly and hassle-free. Specific end-user benefits include:
- Easy accessibility - View live and archived video at multiple locations from a single browser interface from anywhere, anytime
- Quickly view event-related video - Video archives are indexed by access control events to quickly pinpoint key video clips
- Immediate notification - The Aparato system supports notifications in the form of emails and text messages that are sent immediately to prompt administrators to log in and view archived activity within minutes of event activity
