Urmet has achieved ISO9001 accreditationISO 9001 is widely recognized as an international standard, which provides a framework for an effective quality management system.

Commenting on the company's achievement, Manji Gami, Managing Director of Urmet said: "The process of obtaining ISO9001 has made an invaluable contribution to our business.  It helped us identify opportunities to improve our procedures and ensure that we continually improve our service levels."

The ISO9001 accreditation coincides with the streamlining of Urmet's sales, admin and technical support services.  From January 2008, customers requiring assistance on any product from either the Aprimatic gate automation, FDI access control or Urmet Domus door entry product ranges, will be able to receive all the help they need by just speaking to one admin, sales or technical support person.

Manji Gami added: "We have cross trained all our staff to enable us to offer customers a single transaction regardless of their requirements."
