STANLEY Security, one of the leading security providers in the UK, has launched the Oneprox GS3 range of highly cost-effective Global Readers for access control systems.

The new STANLEY Oneprox GS3 Readers come in both Low Frequency and Multi Technology models and are compatible with the PAC KeyPac, Wiegand and STANLEY’s own access cards or tokens. The Multi Technology Readers also work with MIFARE / DESfire EV1 cards or tokens and, with Stanley’s Ops feature, can be secured using 128-bit encryption. Using the Ops feature means a proprietary code is applied to the card / token which, along with the card’s CSN (card serial number), can only be read by a STANLEY Oneprox GS3-MT Reader for effective security.

Card technology selection is made through a simple to use dip switch on the Readers. The Readers can be retrofitted with ease, allowing for simple migration of existing users onto new or additional access controlled doors.

Offering quality design and manufacture, STANLEY Oneprox GS3 readers provide a true Class 3 wall tamper option compliant to UL 294 and ULC S319, enabling connection of the reader to any intrusion system that requires an arm / disarm reader. This feature allows for one token / one reader range to secure the entire building, as opposed to requiring an extra token and reader solely for the intruder alarm system, for both convenience and added security. Accordingly, they are approved to BS EN 50131-1 and BS EN 50131-3 for Intrusion and Hold-up Alarm Systems.

There are six models in the STANLEY Oneprox GS3 range, the first of which - a Mullion Reader for mounting on door frames or areas requiring a small footprint – was launched at IFSEC 2013 to great interest. The Standard model has been designed for surface mounting or can be attached to an electrical back box; it is also available with a keypad for additional security via a PIN number. An Admin Kit for desktop use, designed to ease the task of adding credentials into the host administration pc, via USB is also available. These are all available in Low Frequency and Multi Technology versions.

Available as Low Frequency only models, the Vandal resistant Reader comes in a durable stainless steel case whilst a Panel Reader is available for flush mounting into a door panel, which can be readily be retrofitted.

All Readers in the STANLEY Oneprox GS3 range feature quick and dependable read times, low power consumption and a bright light pipe for highly visibility in line with DDA requirements, all in a stylish, unobtrusive design.

STANLEY Security provides a comprehensive range of access control systems and products to meet an exceptionally wide range of applications from single standalone solutions, to multiple sites featuring fully integrated security systems.
