Stanley Security Solutions, one of the leading security providers in the UK – is pleased to announce the launch of a comprehensive new Electronic Article Surveillance (EAS) range.

Suitable for varied applications within the retail, leisure and visitor attraction markets to name but a few, the new Stanley EAS range combines reliable technology at an attractive price point.  It enables the company to enhance its offering to these sectors, especially retail where it enjoys a strong presence through its CCTV, intruder alarm and alarm monitoring services.

The Stanley EAS Solutions range features Radio Frequency (RF) mono and dual pedestal systems and Acoustic Magnetic (AM) mono, dual and triple systems.  The pedestals are manufactured from a robust Aluminium framed aerial with Plexiglas body and can accommodate advertising panels.  They can be used in standalone mode or with multiple pedestals and come with both visual and audible alarm, selectable sounder pattern and adjustable volume.

The RF pedestals incorporate enhanced detection utilising both swept and single frequency operation and an intelligent transmitter to prevent label / tag deactivation.  Slim mono versions are also available for where space is at a premium.

The AM EAS pedestals use the latest Digital Signal Processing to continually check the environment, resulting in minimal false alarms whilst retaining excellent detection rates; the dual model allows for detection up to two metres between the two pedestals.

The Stanley EAS pedestals are available with a wide range of hard tags (including hard tag pins, bottle, optical and spider tags) and adhesive labels including fresh and frozen food labels, along with compatible Detachers for the removal of tags and Deactivators to deactivate labels.

In addition, the EAS range is fully compatible with Stanley’s bi-directional People Counters.  The system uses a horizontal infrared beam which, when broken by a person entering or leaving the premises, is registered.  The cost-effective standard People Counter allows for single direction counting, whilst the Web Based People Counter Controller Set enables counts in both directions, stored separately.  The latter can be configured to receive data from up to 10 sources.

For customers looking to use EAS for the first time, Stanley is offering cost-effective, easy to implement EAS Packages.  A variety of packages are available in both RF and AM systems, featuring Mono or Dual Pedestals with hard tags and detacher, or labels and deactivator.
