Axis Communication opens new offices in China and Brazil in response to high demand for network videoAxis Communications recently announced that the company is opening new sales offices China (Beijing) and Brazil (São Paolo).  There is great interest in network video in both of the regions and by establishing local offices, Axis strengthens its presence on markets with development potential.

"The growing markets in China and South America make high demands on security and both of the regions have great potential," says Ray Mauritsson, President of Axis Communications.

In China, one can see great potential for network video, particularly within the transportation and industrial segments.  Business on the Chinese market has been conducted from the offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai for many years.  The company is strengthening its presence in China through the opening of an additional office in the country.

In South America there is particular demand for network video within authorities and public surveillance as well as in retail.  Axis is establishing itself as a player on the South American market by opening an office in São Paulo.
