Ray received the award for his leadership in successfully strengthening Axis' position as market leader

Ray Mauritsson, Axis Communications, has been named "CEO of the Year" 2013 in the large company category. Ray Mauritsson receives the award for his leadership in successfully strengthening Axis' position as market leader while maintaining its already strong corporate culture during a period of high growth and heavy recruitment.

“I am honoured to be named ‘CEO of the Year’ and proud to have created the basis for Axis’ success together with the company’s innovative and dedicated employees,” says Ray Mauritsson, President and CEO, Axis Communications. “It is also gratifying that we are recognised for our sustainability efforts, as we continue to take long-term responsibility when it comes to business ethics and corporate social responsibility while we also work actively to minimise our environmental impact.”

The prize is awarded by a renowned jury that, together with the organisation Motivation.se, chose three winners from among 146 nominees in the small, medium-sized and large company categories.

The jury's motivation: “The ‘CEO of the Year’ in the large company category, with pioneering products and new technologies has successfully strengthened the company's position as market leader in its field over a ten-year period through a growth rate of between 11 and 39% per year.
