Total Recall provides video surveillance security to protect more than hundreds of thousands of people at Concert for Valor in Washington, D.C
CrimeEye units provided situational awareness to help monitor access and egress to the National Mall

Total Recall Corporation, a video-centric security technology provider, has again provided video surveillance for a historical landmark, this time to protect the more than hundreds of thousands of people who attended the first ever Concert for Valor in Washington, D.C. The event held on the National Mall on Veteran’s Day 2014 featured performances by Bruce Springsteen, Metallica, Carrie Underwood, Eminem, Rhianna, and many more.

Total Recall Corporation provided video surveillance security for the event’s host, the National Park Service (NPS) and the United States Park Police. The celebration sponsored by Starbucks, HBO, Chase, Twitter, and the Caring for Military Families charity was created to honour the courage and sacrifice of veterans, active duty service members, and their families. Total Recall Corporation is proud to have a history of providing high quality video surveillance security expertise to the NPS and the U.S. Park Police and was even honoured by several organisations last year for donating a multi-million dollar surveillance and security upgrade to help restore security for the Statue of Liberty, which was seriously damaged by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.

“We are grateful to take this opportunity to recognise the service of our current and former members of the military,” said Total Recall Corporation President Jordan Heilweil. “It’s also an honour to be called upon time and again to provide security services for the National Park Service and for the historical landmarks they protect. The fact that Total Recall Corporation is entrusted to provide video surveillance security for literally hundreds of thousands of citizens at a single event is a testament to our ability and expertise.”

To provide video surveillance security for The Concert for Valor, Total Recall deployed its exclusive CrimeEye citywide surveillance units. CrimeEye units which feature HDTV-quality Axis Communications dome network cameras provided situational awareness to help monitor access and egress to the National Mall.

Total Recall also used Dallmeier’s Multifocal Sensor System Panomera cameras for security coverage of the event as these cameras are adept at providing all-encompassing video surveillance of expansive areas such as the National Mall. The new technology in Dallmeier’s Panomera cameras was one tool used to help monitor the crowd as a whole, with the added ability of zooming in on specific detail if a situation arose.
