ViconNet’s ONVIF compliant platform provides countless integration options with third party software and hardware, including access control, license plate recognition, perimeter intrusion detection and PSIM solutions
Vicon demonstrated its open platform VMS and its full interoperability with Axis cameras

Vicon Industries Inc., a leading designer and producer of integrated IP video surveillance systems and Axis Communications, a world leader in network video, announced their partnership for applications development at an event held in Mexico City on October 15, 2013. Attended by highest-level Axis integrators from Central America and the Caribbean, the conference provided a forum for Vicon to demonstrate its open platform video management system and its full interoperability with Axis cameras. Key among the benefits of Vicon integration are special pricing for Axis cameras licenses as well as no recurring camera licensing fees. Combined, these pricing policies deliver tremendous long-term savings to ViconNet system users who employ Axis cameras. In addition, ViconNet’s ONVIF compliant platform provides countless integration options with third party software and hardware, including access control, license plate recognition, perimeter intrusion detection and PSIM solutions.

“Vicon systems are trusted throughout Latin America at some of largest and most demanding security installations, within both the public and private sector,” said Maria Bustamante, Vicon’s International Sales Manager. “Our new partnership with Axis allows more options to our customers and more benefits to Axis customers — a winning situation for all involved.”
